Campaign Duration: Sept 27-Nov 4

Hello! I’m Kiani, the artist and owner of Cimmabun. I create cute and colorful art and turn it into stickers, stationery, and more! This is my first Kickstarter campaign, and I’m so excited to share this enamel pin collection with you.

How It Works

 

Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform with a pledge now, pay later system. It would be like placing a preorder, but you will only be charged if the campaign is successfully funded. After the campaign ends, you’ll be sent a survey where you’ll pick which pins you want from the designs we unlock! 

During the campaign, you can get these pins at a “preorder discount,” along with some themed freebies as a gift for your support. After the Kickstarter ends, they will be sold at full price on my website. 

The initial $500 goal for this project will fund the Bow Bunny pin and its matching cupcake mini pin. Each milestone will unlock more designs or other fun goodies such as vinyl stickers, themed backing cards, and a special art print. Essentially, the more funds we raise, the more goodies we get! 

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your pledge at any time before the campaign ends, but early bird prices are limited to the first 48 hours. If you pledge for an early bird tier and cancel/change your pledge after the 48 hour mark, you will be unable to select that tier again.

 

Enamel Pins Details

 

10 Designs Total

5 large pins, 5 mini pins

Style: hard enamel pin; some with screen printed details

Plating: may vary by design (e.g. black nickel, gold, silver)

Sizes:

Large pins: approximately 1.25-1.5 inches

Mini pins: approximately .75-1 inch

Packaging: each pin and its matching mini pin will be mounted on a backing card by two pin posts and PVC (rubber) clutches; individual add-on pins will be mounted two per backing card; stickers and art prints will be packaged in plastic bags (one bag per pledge)

 

 

Freebies!

 

Vinyl stickers: (if unlocked) every large and mini pin set will come with a matching 3” matte laminated vinyl sticker! The sticker will thematically fit with the set but will be its own unique design. 

Art print: (if unlocked) every pledged including one pin set or more will receive a free 4x6 art print to commemorate the campaign!

 

 

 

Add-Ons

 

Each support tier will have the opportunity to select add-ons (additional rewards)! After choosing your initial tier, you will be taken to a screen with a list of options. Here, you can choose to add extra pins, mini pins, stickers, and art prints to your pledge. 

You can add, subtract, or change your add-ons at any time during the duration of the campaign. To manage your add-ons, go to your Kickstarter profile, select this campaign, click “manage [your pledge],” find the “options” ellipses in the top right corner, select “edit reward,” and follow the prompts on the screen.

 

 

Funding Goals

 

For as little as $2, you can support the campaign to help us reach the stretch goals and unlock up to 10 unique pin designs, vinyl stickers, art prints, and custom backing cards. Physical reward tiers start at $17 for a pin set ($16 with the early bird discount!). 

 

$500 — Bow Bunny and Cupcake mini pin

$900 — Dapper Bunny and Teapot mini pin

$1,000 — Themed vinyl stickers

$1,500 — Black Cat Bunny and Pumpkin mini pin

$2,100 — Strawberry Bunny and Strawberry mini pin

$2,800 — Butterfly Bunny and Bun Bee mini pin

$2,900 — Free art print

$3,100 — Custom backing cards for each pin set

 

Wow that’s a lot of money! What will these funds be used for? Great question.

~5-10% is going to Kickstarter and payment fees.

~10% is going to shipping.

~80% is going to manufacturing costs (including making the pins, stickers, etc.)

Pins cost a lot of money up front, which is why I chose to use Kickstarter’s crowdfunding process. Every little bit helps! 

 

 

Shipping

 

Shipping prices are determined by the weight of the rewards and the shipping distance.

All rewards will be mailed with a tracking number that will be sent to you via the email you provide Kickstarter. Packages will be mailed with USPS First Class Mail or Priority Mail (for heavier packages).

International Backers: Please keep in mind that you will be responsible for any customs/VAT fees that you may incur. It is illegal to change the price or mark the items as gifts on customs forms.

If a package is returned due to an insufficient address, I will contact you via email. However, if you wish to have it resent to another address, you will be responsible for providing another shipping payment as shipping costs are not refunded when a package is returned. To avoid this, please ensure that you are providing a correct address on the Kickstarter post-campaign survey. Any packages that are returned in good condition can be refunded minus the shipping cost.
